Great Time at the Con

I had a great time at my first UK Meet! There are lots of great panels and talks, and, more importantly, lots of great people that I got to meet. I will talk more when I am back on my own computer, but I had a brilliant time and hope to make it again next year!
Great meeting you, Penny Rogers, Rhys Ford, TA Moore, Violet JC, Mari van Evans, and Sue Brown.

Hay on Wye

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been to the Hay Festival to see the glorious Neil Gaiman talk about Terry Pratchett and his new book Trigger Warning, which was inspiring, funny, sad and everything you expect when you see Neil.

but what really excited me was all those darn books! The Cinema Bookshop was amazing and had a decent LGBT section where I picked up some beauties!
imageHow fantastic are these? I adore the covers too! They’re like gay Mills and Boon. I cannot wait to read them.

Bubble Tea!

Tried bubble tea for the first time in London! Yummy! Got lost trying to find Artbox (it was in an obscure alleyway, not my fault!)

chatted to to the lovely boys at Gay’s the Word (best bookshop ever)

Now it’s back to writing!

Wondering where I am?

Off on holiday this week, having loads of fun at the (occasionally) sunny seaside! It’s a bit too cold for ice cream, but I’ve had lots of hot chocolate and tv – which is almost as good!

Heading to Bristol!

Great news! I’ll be at the UK GLBTQ Fiction Meet in Bristol this September, along with a bunch of other cool writers. I’ll be hitting the sessions, going to pitches and generally having a great time! Unfortunately there’s no more space at this year’s event, but if you join the newsletter you can keep an eye out for next year!
